Food: Kuu @ CTW
Overall: A great place for casual date before movie or dinning with friends (6max)
Type: Japanese
Price: $$
Atmosphere: a minimal furnishing in a modern set of black wall.
Kuu is located on the food zone 7th floor of Central World, a hip new mall right at the heart of Bangkok center. Don't get lost finding your favorite shops here
The restaurant specialty is various choices of yakitori. We ordered chicken wings, chicken yakitori, grilled japanese sweet chili and grilled squid. All were impressive. The meat were well marinated with shear smell of charcoal brings out the juicy meat taste.
There were also curry dishes and ramen on the menu. The tempura curry-don was good both taste and raw mat. Prawn were right for the price tag – not too big nor small. The curry paste was well rounded both in spiciness and chili-hot.
Various choice of japanese deserts are offered; the tofu/green tea ice-cream with sweet red beans paste, green tea custard, hot red bean, etc… guarantee a no disappointment.
Other menus are ramen and hot pot which we didn't have a chance to order but would have no doubt in the both quality and taste.
