Food: Breakfast with Minibar Royale

Posted in Food by zanyasan on April 23, 2009

The name of this uber hip cafe might have already been familiar by many, Minibar Royale is the place where you catch up latest gossip news with your girl gang while sipping that sexy martini cocktail.

Little that one knew, this little chic bar tucked away in the small soi of Sukhumvit 23, is also an ideal breakfast club of nearby Sukhumvit residents. The breakfast choices offers here reminded you of the good old days aboard. Porch eggs, scramble eggs, Waffle and cream with fresh fruits selections, and so on.
Here are some photos of the dishes I ordered.
  • Boiled egg with bacons and toasts – well presentation. so so taste. I felt that it was a little too difficult to eat.
  • French onion soup *** – highly recommend. the melted cheese in tasty hot soup is second to none.
  • Waffles with fresh cream and assorted fruits – the flour is not well baked and I suspected that pancake will not taste good as well.
  • Crispy prawns with garlic and chili *** – not quite a western breakfast choice but you can order for dinner or snack.
Another recommended dishes are Egg Benedict*** and French toasts***
While some were hits and missed but Minibar Royale earns back some credits after my disappointed dinner experience.
